Our Team

In the hi-tech age, when the translation industry is becoming more and more involved with various technical solutions such as machine translation, computer assisted translation, translation management systems and so on, here at Diskusija we still believe that in our business the central role nevertheless belongs to the human resources and talents we employ, even if we freely admit the necessity and convenience of technical tools.

We are proud that we have been able to put together a fine team of highly qualified specialists able to perform the most complex translation projects.

Our team consists of our in-house management staff and a large pool of freelance translators and other language specialists.

Translation project management

Experienced and qualified project managers are both our front-line and an essential link in our chain of service. Flexibility and attention to a client’s needs are their intrinsic skills. At Diskusija, every client is given a personal approach to allow us to understand the client’s specific requirements, to evaluate the feasibility of the order, and to determine its price and deadline. A dedicated project manager coordinates the workflow of your order at all its stages and ensures it is performed correctly, appropriately, and on schedule.

Furthermore, our project managers are able to work under pressure and to handle any issues that arise during an assignment smoothly.

Language specialists

You may wonder how we can  provide so many language combinations. Do we have that  many in-house specialists? The answer is, no.

We employ translators, editors, proofreaders, and QA specialists of various languages, most of whom are freelancers. For the translation services we provide, it is not sufficient to have an excellent knowledge of the source and target languages; it is absolutely vital to have a good understanding of the subject area you undertake to translate. That is why all our resources are highly experienced, skilled experts who specialise in certain translation areas. Therefore, we employ medical doctors, engineers, IT specialists, etc. who have extensive experience in translation along with professional linguists.

Most of our linguists are native speakers of the target language and live in a country where this language is spoken.

Our large team of translators consists of more than 400 specialists. Diskusija has invested a great deal of time and effort into recruiting, testing and training the best resources by applying our very strict selection procedure. By the way, only 20–25% of the translators who apply to work for us pass our quality checks. That’s how committed we are to ensuring that our standards are kept extremely high.

Furthermore, some projects are done in cooperation with our partner companies from different countries. Our membership of international organisations enables us to enlarge the range of services and languages we can provide to our valuable clients.

Let our team work for you on your next translation project.
