1. Evaluation of the translator’s/editor’s resumé

In order to be considered for a position on our team the translator/editor must:
- be a native speaker of the target language;
- have a university level degree or equivalent qualification;
- have at least 3 years translation/editing experience.

2. Test translation/editing job

The translators/editors perform test translation/editing jobs in the subject areas in which they are the best qualified. Each test text is approx. 250 words. These test translations and their evaluations are saved in our records for future reference.

3. Sign an agreement

Selected translators/editors must:
- read and sign our Procedures Manual and Service Agreement including the Confidentiality clauses;
- provide us with copies of the relevant diplomas and qualification certificates.

4. Assignment of first minor jobs

- Only minor jobs are assigned to newly selected translators/editors.
- These first pieces of work are double-checked and evaluated.

5. Addition to vendor database

If the first assignments are delivered on time and meet our quality requirements, the translator/editor is added to our regular vendor database.

6. Regular evaluation of the performance of the translator/editor

- Feedback is provided for each job completed by the translator/editor.
- The appropriate notes are marked in our vendor database.
